Book Review: The Last Queen

Beautifully written book. This is the second book I've read by the famous author 'Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni'. My first was 'Mistress of Spices'. Though lately she is most famous for her books on Sita and Draupadi. Her books 'The Palace of Illusions' and 'The Forest of Enchanments'. I am yet to read these two books, however I needed to get a flavour of her current writing so I picked this book.  To be frank it first took me quite a while to enjoy the book as somehow it wasn't really my flavour of read, but however after the second half of the book I actually started enjoying the book. However, it depends on person to person. I am someone who doesn't enjoy reading much on drama and personal memoir. I'd rather read a non-fiction, philosophy or sociological books.  Incase you like her writings, surely pick it up.
